And more curiously, why am I the only one posting about it?
NO idea on the message of this, but for the subject matter the answer is:
Because it's not an automated game and CLs have to come up with words for all of you every day and after over a year of posting these things sometimes we forget to add new ones and get tired of it and being as I"m the only CL who is currently active, I did not notice I was behind and until someone tells me, I don't always notice or have time to read boards because I have this lovely thing called a real, nonvirtual life.
In future, if anyone has an issue that needs quick action, messaging or quick notes to me are a much more common-sense way to get a hold of me in the moment.

as far as I know, nothing.
he's still a comunity leader, I guess he's just not been on for a while or something (it's summer break, so maybe he is on vacation!)
I think what natalie was trying to say in her post was that at the time someone said that their were no anagrams, she was the only person on who could do anything about it.
as for post 1, curious thing.. people always play anagrams, but if they are missing no one mentions it
makes me wonder if people actually care. I mean sure VH did, he posted about it, but I mean some of the other regulars
or maybe it's noti mportant enough to post about it.
a few days ago, someone commented to me the /weather command was broken
that person never posted it on the boards though, in fact no one did
same went for between the words.
I remember that was broken for days.
no one posted it was broken, however it did get fixed eventually
I was simply trying to point out that I don't always have time to check boards, so it's great that you post, but there's a greater chance I at least won't see it and being as I'm your best bet for being on and getting the right people to fix something, it's better to just let me know directly if it's something that you really care about.

Wow, there was no criticism intended here. As mentioned, many people play the Anagram Mania and it surprised me that no one had posted about it. I had noticed no CLs seemed to be on and thought there might be a connection but I wasn't sure. I also wouldn't send a message as for all I knew you were all on vacation or something.

While the original poster could have been more polite about this message, Natalie, you could have too, and not been so sarcastic.
A lot of us have those things called lives too, but a lot of people also like to come on and play Anagram. I knew that CLs have to add words into the system as I was one myself, but not many people would, so you should think about that when you are replying to such threads.
On another note, the people who don't have lives love to cheat - the same ones, but that's another story. Moral of the story is, don't assume people know how things work in the background of this site. Assume makes an ass out of U and Me remember?! :)
at post 10, I don't know how long natalie's been cl, but this is what I do know.
she joined in 2003, anagram mania started in 2004
so for arguments sake, let's say she helped with anagrams since the start (2004), that's over 10 years of doing it.
I personally think she was well within her right to post what she did on here. to be fair, only 1 person (out of many players) even commented it was broken, and then it still wasn't the most polite way of doing it.
she was the only person on at the time, and I supposee she just gets fed up with it.
not only the whole lack of comunication that it's broken, but actually doing the words. I know I would after 10 years of entering anagrams
I'm not sure why my post was taken as impolite as it was not meant to be. I was merely curious as to why there were no new anagram mania posts and why no one was asking about it as clearly, any of us play that game.
Nat, for what it's worth, as a former CL, you have my sympathies. I know it's a pretty thankless position, as demonstrated here. Hugs.
